We support the delivery of council services.

Our dedicated business support teams work with all council departments, delivering essential administrative assistance to ensure the smooth operation of services to Westmorland and Furness residents.

From Business Support Officers and Electoral Service Officers to Executive Assistants and receptionists, we play a crucial role behind the scenes to uphold the council's commitment to providing excellent services.

Working in business support

We empower our colleagues, including social workers, planners and directors, to concentrate on their essential tasks.

Business Support Officers manage processes, produce important documents and maintain accurate records. With the integration of innovative technologies, our focus shifts from bureaucracy to enhancing value for each business sector.

We strive to get the best out of the council’s resources, experience and expertise by effectively supporting our colleagues.
